About us

We are an Independent "Separated" Bible Believing Baptist Church who loves people and the Word of God! We have a zeal to see people saved, discipled, and serving the Lord! We wish to be there for those who are hurting and need biblical advice and help. It is our desire to see churches started across Minnesota, the United States, and the world!

There are many things that define us but there are a few that "Separate" us from many churches across America.

They are as follows:

1. Biblical Salvation and Repentance -
We believe true biblical salvation renders a
true change of heart, mind, and attitude towards Jesus, sin, and false belief. We reject
high pressured evangelism which leaves people unchanged with no hope. We are not
out to produce professions but to see people "born again" and possessed by the Holy
Spirit!

(Matthew 9:13, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 19:1-10, Acts 3:19, II Peter 3:9)

2. Nucleus Church Planting - We believe it is far better and more scriptural to start a
church with a team of people, rather than just one person. (We do not condemn those
who have done it on their own and appreciate their sacrifice and will support them.) We however, believe a church has a far better chance of succeeding and remaining when it is started with a group of people.

(Matthew 10:1-15, Luke 10:1,17, Acts 1:15, 2:1, 11:19-30, 13:1-3).

3. Indigenous Autonomous Church Principle - We believe in being an indigenous
(native) autonomous (self-governing, self-propagating) church. Here in America and on foreign soil. We believe in starting these types of churches as well. We reject imperial business minded church and missions. Church Missions should be about being focused on people and souls not prestige, properties, and assets (we are not against churches owning these if they choose to do so as a church, but rather believe these things do not constitute a New Testament Church). We believe churches are churches from conception and are not franchises, extension ministries, or satellite campuses.

(Matthew 18:20, Acts 1:15, 2:47, 11:27, 13:1-3, 18:1-11, 20:17, 1 Cor 1:1-2, 1 Th 1:1, Col 1:2, Rev 2-3).

4. Doctrinal Preaching - We have a high esteem and reverence for Biblical preaching. In a day where preferences and traditions are esteemed higher than scriptures, we wish to elevate the scriptures above man's preferences and traditions that divide believers.

(Psalms 119:105, 128, Proverbs 4:2. Acts 17:11, Romans 14:1-6, II Timothy 2:2, 3:16).

5. Individual Soul Liberty - We believe Baptist have historically believed in the doctrine of individual soul liberty (Individual men and women are at liberty to make their own decisions, because they will answer to God for the choices they make, especially on issues that may not be defined clearly in the Bible {preferences}) unfortunately, many have stopped practicing this wonderful doctrine and have replaced it with authoritative hierarchies, and abusive pastoral authority. We wish to proclaim the Word of God and then allow people to serve God according to their conscience.

(Romans 14:11-12, I Corinthians 3:12-15, Galatians 5:1).

6. Pastoral Leadership - We believe pastors are to lead their people by preaching the
Bible, being an ensample to the flock, and by giving biblical counsel. We do not believe
pastors are to lord over God's people or be the final decision maker in people's lives.
We believe in pastoral leadership not pastoral lordship.

(Psalms 23:2, Acts 14:8-18, 20:28, I Timothy 2:5, Titus 1:7-9, I Peter 5:1-4, 1 John 4:1).

7. Transparent Ministry - We believe in a ministry that is transparent that provides
accountability and safety from corrupt, underhanded ministries that side with
victimizers.

(Romans 12:17, II Corinthians 1:12-14, 23-24, 4:1-2 6:11, 8:21, I Timothy 3:7).

8. Biblical Growth - We believe in a Biblical pattern of growth that happens through the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We understand that faith produces good works but we should not base our spirituality off of a performance works-based sanctification. Just because a person does or does not do something does not mean they are automatically in good fellowship with the Lord. We believe motives matter. Why does a person do or not do what they do?

(Hebrews 10:16-18, John 17:17, Psalms 37:31).

9. Biblical Leadership and Two Offices - We believe the Bible has set forth two
offices in the church being the pastor and or pastors (rather by one man or a body of
elders) and deacon and they are to be the ambassadors and caretakers of the church.
We believe we are to separate ourselves from churches, boards, chairman's,
government, and para-church organizations that seek to wield influence in or control
over the local church.

(Acts 20:17, II Corinthians 5:20, Ephesians 1:20-23, 1 Peter 5:1, I Timothy 3:1-13, 5:17, Titus 1:5, )

10. Harmonized Fellowship - We believe we can and should have harmonized
fellowship with like-minded churches (from within or without) who express personality and preferential differences from our own. We wish to separate from camps, fellowships, and associations that operate with a "big name" mindset that causes division and isolation.

(Acts 14:26-28,1 Corinthians 1:10-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:11).

11. Informal Worship – We believe while our corporate worship should have order and structure; it is also of upmost importance to allow the Spirit of God and the Scriptures to have free reign in our services and our hearts. We believe a believer should be able to worship God as he/she pleases rather it be by saying amen, lifting up hands, shouting, kneeling to pray, and etc. We believe a believer should be able to approach God in attire he/she finds most pleasing (as long as it is in the bounds of modesty “not drawing people’s attention away from the Lord onto themselves.” We, believe we are to be guided by the Spirit and the Scriptures rather than man made documents (such as covenants and constitutions) as to how our church should operate. We furthermore, believe we can conduct this worship anywhere the church decides to meet whether in a park, by the river, in a home or etc, (not just in a designated building). Where the church decides to assemble it is free to worship there!

(Romans 14:11-12, I Corinthians 14:40, I Thessalonians 1:13, 2 Timothy 3:15-16, Matthew 4:4, 18:20, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 4:24, 16:13, I Timothy 2:9).

In a day where it seems that many churches are experiencing dismay, distrust,
disaffection, disunity, and doubt. We wish to strive to counter this by having the capacity to minister and operate without fear, by having conviction upon Bible truth not preference, by having compassion for the hurting, lost, and saints, by having
cooperation from within the church and other like-minded churches and by
having confidence in the direction we are heading, and to know we will be there to
support one another in church plants and other ministries.

We hope this helps you understand us better. We would love to have you come and be
with us in any one of our services.

Lord Bless!
